CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 1 exams were held between November-December 2021 while Term 2 exams are scheduled to be held between April-May 2022. Term-1 question paper had multiple-choice questions (MCQ) whereas, term 2 question paper will have different formats such as case-based or situation based, open-ended-short answer or long answer type.
In 2020-21 session, CBSE was unable to conduct 10th and 12th exams due to COVID-19. The board had to cancel board exams for both classes during the second wave. Thus, in 2021, the board decided to conduct two terms to assess the performance of students in a better way.
