NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will be conducting Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2023) on December 18, 2022, for admission to 22 national law universities for 5-year LLB and LLM programmes for the academic year 2023-24. CLAT 2023 registration began from August 8, 2022.

CLAT 2023 registration last date to apply will be announced on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Students who have scored at least 45% or its equivalent in the Class 12 exams will be eligible to apply for the exam. However, SC and ST candidates are required to secure at least 40% marks or equivalent grades.

CLAT 2023 question paper format, syllabus
The UG-CLAT 2023 would focus on evaluating the comprehension and reasoning skills and abilities of candidates. The CLAT UG 2023 will be a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each. There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
