NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully concluded the CMAT 2022 entrance at 6 pm in 124 cities. As per the reports, around 60,000 MBA aspirants took the exam today. CMAT 2022 was moderately difficult as per the candidates who took the exam today. There were 2-4 tricky questions.
The new section, ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which was added last year, was made compulsory this year and the questions in this section were of moderate difficulty. NTA is likely to release the official CMAT 2022 answer key in the third week of April at the NTA CMAT official website - cmat.nta.nic.in.

CMAT Answer Key 2022
NTA is expected to release the CMAT 2022 answer key along with the CMAT response sheet. Candidates can use them to calculate their estimated score and assess their chances of admission. The authorities will first release the preliminary CMAT answer key following which the objection window will open. By the last week of April, candidates will be able to access the official CMAT answer key 2022. In the meantime, MBA coaching institutes are likely to release the unofficial CMAT 2022 answer keys prepared on the basis of memory-based questions. The links to download CMAT answer keys by coaching institutes will be uploaded here as and when the keys are released.

CMAT Exam Analysis 2022: Test Overview
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) was conducted as per the revised test pattern today. The CMAT 2022 question paper had five sections namely, Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, Language Comprehension, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. As per the CMAT 2022 analysis by the students, the number of questions in each section was 20 which is less compared to the previous year’s exam. CMAT 2022 Exam: Key Highlights
- The total duration of the exam was 180 minutes with a total of 100 questions.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship section in CMAT was of easy to moderate level difficulty.

The CMAT questions asked in QA and DI section were tougher as compared to previous year.

For every correct response, four marks will be given and one mark will be deducted for incorrect response.

As is the case generally with CMAT, this year too, time was not a constraining factor.
CMAT Analysis 2022: Students’ Reaction
As per one of the candidates, Aakash Sharma, “Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation'' section was time-consuming in the CMAT exam. The CMAT general awareness section was moderate to difficult and a student could get good marks if he could answer around 11-13 questions. The reasoning section was between easy to moderate levels of difficulty.
Anisha, another candidate who took the exam today says, “The overall difficulty level of CMAT entrance was moderate. GA wasn't much around recent events. In the Language Comprehension section, most of the questions were about synonym and antonyms, para jumbles and passages. So, LR was the easiest to moderate section, and questions asked were about seating arrangements, syllogisms, etc. In the QA section, the weightage of probability was higher compared to last year's CMAT”.

CMAT results are declared within 7 to 10 days from the date of exam. The CMAT 2022 score card will be accepted by around 1000 AICTE approved institutions/university departments/ constituent colleges/ affiliated colleges for MBA admission 2022.
