NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the answer key for the Central Scientific and Industrial Research–University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) 2024 for the December session today, March 11. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the CSIR UGC NET answer key 2024 through the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.
The testing agency has also issued the question papers, and the response sheet along with the CSIR UGC NET answer key 2024. Candidates will have to use their application number and date of birth to login and download the CSIR UGC NET 2024 response sheet.
Candidates who are not satisfied with the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 answer key can raise objections through the official website. The CSIR UGC NET answer key challenge window will be open for four days till March 14. Candidates will also have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question while challenging the answer key.
"Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by a panel of Subject Experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared,” the official notice said.
The CSIR UGC NET December 2024 exam was held on February 28, March 1, and March 2, 2025 in computer-based mode. The exam was conducted across 326 centers in 164 cities for 2,38,451 candidates.

How to challenge CSIR UGC NET answer key 2024?
The procedure to challenge the CSIR UGC NET 2024 answer key is given below.
- Visit the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click “Joint CSIR-UGC NET DEC-2024: Click Here to Answer Key Challenge,” link.
- Now, login with application number, date of birth, and security pin.
- Click 'View Answer Sheet' for marked responses and 'Challenge' to view answer keys.
- Select the Question ID you want to challenge.
- Upload the supporting documents as a single PDF file and click 'Submit and review Claims'.
- Click 'Modify your Claims' to edit or 'Final Submit' to confirm.
- Click 'Pay Now', choose payment mode, and complete payment.
- The challenge will be accepted only after successful payment.
