NEW DELHI : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 will be conducted on January 21, 2024. CTET 2024 registration has begun on the official website, ctet.nic.in. Eligible candidates are required to apply for the exam by November 23.
“The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 18th edition of Central TeacherEligibility Test (CTET) on 21-01-2024 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in twenty languages in135 cities all over the country,” read an official statement.

CBSE has also released CTET 2024 information bulletin including information on syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates on the official website.
In order to apply for CTET January 2024, aspirants belonging to general and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 1,000 for one paper and Rs 1,200 for both papers. The registration fee for SC, ST, and differently able persons is Rs 500 for a single paper and Rs 600 for both papers.

- Go to the official website of CTET, ctet.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the link “Apply for CTET Jan 2024”
- Now, click on new registration and register yourselves
- Fill the application form
- Pay the exam fee and upload the required documents
- Submit the form and download it for future reference
