NEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2024 today, January 31, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who have not registered yet for the exam can fill the CUET PG 2024 application form on the official website – pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.
The CUET PG 2024 application fee for the candidates belonging to the general category is Rs 1,200 for two papers with an additional fee of Rs 600 each for each extra paper. The General-Economically Weaker Sections (Gen-EWS) and Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) candidates will have to pay the fee of Rs 1,000 with Rs 500 for each extra paper.
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and third gender candidates will be required to make fee payment of Rs 900 while Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD) will have to submit Rs 800. The fee for applicants outside India is Rs 6,000 up to two test papers and Rs 2,000 for each extra paper.
CUET PG 2024 correction window will open on February 2. Successfully registered applicants will be able to edit the details in their CUET PG application form till February 4.
CUET PG 2024 Registration: Step-by-step guide
Step 1: Registration Form
The candidate should provide the required details while filling the online application form and is required to create password and choose security question and enter their answer. After successful submission of the personal details, an application number will be generated. Register for the online application form and note down the system-generated application number. Candidate will be able to login directly with the generated application number and password.
Step 2: Application Form
Candidates can log in with the generated login credentials for completing the application form. Fill up the personal details, provide educational qualification, select college and course, provide test paper details, choose the examination cities, and upload the images and documents (if any).
Instructions for uploading images of photograph and signature
- The recent photograph should be either in colour or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
- Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG or JPEG format (clearly legible).
- The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
- The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible).
Step 3: Fee payment
After completing step 1 and step 2, the candidates must pay the requisite examination fee. The CUET PG fee can be submitted only online through net banking, credit card, debit card or UPI. Students will also be required to pay the processing charges and GST as applicable by the concerned bank or payment gateway integrator besides the exam fee.
Step 4: Confirmation page
After the successful payment pf the exam fee by the candidate, the confirmation page of the online application form will be generated. In case the confirmation page is not generated after payment of fee, the candidate may have to approach the concerned bank or the payment gateway (in the helpline number and email given in the information bulletin) for ensuring the successful payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate or multiple payments.
