NEW DELHI: Students and parents have flagged issues in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 application form related to ABC column, identification number, and the list of universities. Aspirants claimed that Delhi University is not available in the list of participating universities. The National Testing Agency (NTA) commenced the CUET UG 2024 registration on February 27.

According to the CUET UG 2024 aspirants, the CUET UG application form 2024 has a column on the Academic Bank of Credits. Since the applicants are mostly school students, they would not know about the ABC ID. The school goers may know about Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) but not ABC, they said. There are no guidelines to even explain the ABC, students claimed.

Secondly, there is a section in the CUET UG form 2024 on identification details. However, a drop down option has not been provided to select the identification number which the students can use. This has resulted in confusion among the students.
Moreover, the biggest issue in the application form is that the list of universities to be selected for admissions is very limited with Delhi University not being even a part of it. Students are worried if filling the CUET UG form without selecting DU would cause a problem.
CUET UG 2024: DU not in list of universities
A student from a private school in Delhi said, "There are only a handful of universities whose names are there. These are not something I am interested in. I have written to NTA also about this but have not got any response.”
Candidates and guardians have also taken the issue to social media. An X (formerly Twitter) user shared a screenshot of the list of universities and the application form and said, Delhi University not appearing in the drop down list. Hope the issue is being tackled on priority.”

Another X user tagged NTA and wrote, “hi we are not able to see full university & program list on Samarth site for CUET UG 2024. Can you please advise if the list is yet to be uploaded.”
Another user said that the form has been made available in a hurry with no info on courses, colleges, and syllabus. “The form of Cuet Ug 2024 is available in a hurry ugc_india , NTA_Exams, but neither the information about the courses of all the universities nor the updated syllabus is there in it. Now how can a child fill the form in such a situation? Honorable dpradhanbjp sir, you are requested to pay attention to this issue,” they said.
