Delhi University announces dates for upcoming OBE

NEW DELHI: Delhi University notified the date sheets for the upcoming online open-book exam on Thursday. The exam will be conducted for the final year students starting from July 10.
The open book exam was earlier scheduled to begin from July 1 but the university decided to postpone the exam by 10 days owing to the COVID-19 crisis.
The datasheets for different undergraduate and postgraduate courses are now available on the official website, du.ac.in .
“The date sheets for the Undergraduate programmes as upload[ed] on the University website have been prepared as per the examination forms submitted by the students,” an official statement said.
To help prepare for the OBE, the university will commence mock examination for UG and PG courses from July 4.
Any discrepancy can be sent to the Dean of Examinations at dean_exam@du.ac.in or examviiconduct@gmail.com , the official notice said.
DU OBE exam dates
As per the OBE date sheet, the time slots and dates for each course is different.
For the B.Com, the exam on skill enhancement course will be conducted on July 10 from 10:30 to 2:30 PM.
Exams for students in the fourth semester of MA English will begin from July 10, 2020, from 9 am to 12 pm while MA Political Science papers (fourth semester) will start from July 11, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
For the students of BA (Honours) courses under the choice-based credit system, all exams will be conducted from 11:30 am to 2:30 PM. The subjects include English, economics, journalism, political science, history, sociology psychology and others. All the “discipline-specific electives" exams for students of applied psychology, economics, English, history and others will begin from July 11 onwards.
The exams for "generic electives" are "separately given and scheduled during afternoon session", that is, from 3 pm.
Exams for BSc (Honours) will be conducted in an early time slot from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. The subjects covered include chemistry, physics, mathematics, statistics, botany, zoology and computer science.
For most of the courses, the exams will end by July 20.
