NEW DELHI: Students don’t have to wait long for degrees as Delhi University is planning to issue copies of degrees within two months of the convocation, scheduled to be held on February 26, 2022. The decision was made to reduce the woes of the graduates as they used to get degrees at least two years after the completion of the programme, the Times of India reported.
“We are planning to give degrees to all students who graduated last year. The data is being sent for printing. Earlier, data was collected through colleges, which was a time-consuming and difficult process,” TOI quoted DS Rawat, Delhi University ’s dean of examination.
According to the report, Rawat said that the university made changes in the DU exam form, wherein PG, UG students were asked to fill in their roll number and name in Hindi. The DU UG, PG marksheet 2021 also had the same information on it. Students were also instructed to check their marksheets after the declaration of DU UG, PG results 2021 on the official website, du.ac.in.

The Delhi University has allocated Rs 10 crore for its centenary celebrations, which will commence from May 1. DU has also planned several events in a year-long celebration that will culminate on May 1 next year.
