Download NowNEW DELHI: The Delhi University has published the DU UG CSAS 2024 second allocation list today, August 25, 2024. Candidates who have registered themselves for Delhi University admissions will be able to download the DU UG CSAS round 2 seat allotment 2024 by visiting the official websites, du.ac.in and admission.uod.ac.in. As per DU press release, in round 2, a total of 24,869 new allocations were made, and 27,554 candidates received higher preferences through the choice of upgrade.

According to the DU official press release, Delhi University will be admitting students to approximately 71,600 seats (excluding supernumerary seats) across 69 colleges, departments, and centers this year. Admissions will be carried out across 1,559 different programmes and college combinations.
The DU press release read, "In the second allocation round, the University will be doing extra allocations to fill the seats optimally so that the Academic Session may begin from August 29, 2024. As per the policy of the University, in second round, all candidates who were rejected in round-I due to invalid certificate, document have been reconsidered in the UR category as per their merit and preference, subject to the availability of seats."
DU UG CSAS 2024 Second Allotment: Acceptance deadline
As per the official schedule, candidates are required to accept the DU UG CSAS 2024 allocated seat by August 27. Colleges will verify and approve the online applications from August 26 to August 29, 4:59 pm. As per the DU UG CSAS 2024 schedule, the fee payment deadline for second allocation is August 30, 4:59 pm.
DU Admission 2024: Tie-breaking policy
Candidates can have a look at the revised tie-breaking rule for DU UG 2024 admission.
- The candidate with a higher percentage of aggregate marks in the best 3 subjects of Class 12 will be given preference.
- The candidate with a higher percentage of aggregate marks in the best 4 subjects of Class 12 will be given preference.
- The candidates with a higher percentage of aggregate marks in the best 5 subjects of Class 12 will be given preference.
- Age of the candidate; preference will be given to the candidate having an earlier date of birth (as mentioned in the Class 10 certificate).
- Alphabetical ordering of the names of the candidates.
DU UG Second Allotment 2024: Documents required for admission
Candidates will require the following documents for DU UG 2024 admission and counselling process.
- CUET UG 2024 scorecard
- Class 10 Certificate and Marksheet (for date of birth verification)
- Class 12 certificate and marksheet
- Transfer Certificate (TC) or School Leaving Certificate (SLC)
- Migration certificate (if applicable)
- Category certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD), if applicable
- Passport-sized photographs
- Address proof (such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport)
- Provisional certificate (from the last attended school)
- Character certificate (from the last attended institution)
