Download NowThe University of Delhi (UoD or DU) has released anti-ragging guidelines in collaboration with the Delhi police. All constituent colleges and campuses are to follow the provisions of Ordinances XV-B and XV-C, along with The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. Police teams will be placed on each campus.

According to the DU anti-ragging guidelines, any student who is found guilty of ragging will be suspended or expelled from the university. They may also face a cancellation of their degree, withholding of results, cancellation of admission, or being barred from classes or examinations.
All students taking admission have to submit an anti-ragging undertaking to the university, as per a Supreme Court judgement. DU will also set up two joint control rooms from August 1 - August 8, 2025, one each for the North and South campuses. Anti-Ragging Day will be observed on August 12, followed by Anti-Ragging Week, from August 12 - August 18.

All colleges, centres, and hostels are strictly prohibited from allowing entry to outsiders, and the Delhi police will monitor and patrol the campuses. Women police officers in plain clothes will be deployed inside the university to prevent ragging and eve-teasing. Disciplinary committees and vigilance squads will be created with the help of National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) student volunteers.
Delhi University students in paying guest (PG) accommodation should make sure that the residence is verified by the local police to ensure the safety of students.
