Download NowNEW DELHI : DU’s Ramanujan College has invited online applications to recruit for Assistant Professor posts for various subjects. Applicants can register online through the official portal, rec.uod.ac.in. A total of 14 vacancies are available for assistant professor posts.

Candidates belonging to the general, EWS, and OBC categories have to Rs 500 as an application fee. However, no fee is required for reserved categories, SC, ST, PwD, and women applicants.
Candidates willing to apply for the assistant professor posts must have a master’s degree in the relevant discipline with atleast 55% marks from a recognized university. Candidates must also have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) held by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) . Or candidates who have obtained PhD degree from a recognised university with a ranking among 500 in the world Unversity rankings such as QS rankings, THE ranking, ARWU rankings, etc.
Candidates scores will be considered for shortlisting their names for the interview round. The selection will be based on candidates’ performance in the interview round. Additionally, NET score will not be required for disciplines for which NET has not been conducted.
The direct recruitment of the assistant professor after shortlisted candidates will be carried forward in two stages: the first stage assessment by the presentation assessment committee and the second stage assessment constituted by assistant committees.
