DU receives 1,83,815 applications for around 20,000 PG seats

NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi has recorded a total of 1,83,815 applications for PG programmes and 30,019 applications for MPhil and PhD programmes, as per the Delhi University admission portal 2021. As many as 20,000 seats in the various Delhi University colleges will be offered to the students in the postgraduate programmes through DU PG admission 2021.

The university had closed the DU 2021 registration window for postgraduate and doctoral level programmes on August 21. The DU PG admission form 2021 was released on July 26.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Delhi University entrance test (DUET) 2021 from September 26 to October 1. The DUET 2021 exam will be held in 27 exam cities this year in computer-based mode. The Delhi University entrance test will be held keeping in view the Covid-19 safety measures and social distancing guidelines.
On the other hand, the university has received around 3,63,881 applications for undergraduate programmes. The Delhi University colleges will offer around 70,000 seats to the students in the undergraduate programmes.
The DU registration form 2021 for UG programmes was released on August 2 and the online facility to register for DU UG admission will be available till August 31. The first DU cut-off 2021 will be released by October 1. The DU cut-off list is prepared with the help of marks obtained by the candidates in the Class 12 examination.
