It may be noted that the academic session 2020 has been one of its kind where things went totally unpredicted for the whole year. JEE Main 2020 April exam ended up being conducted in the month of September and so was the case with NEET and pending board exams as well. All the post-lockdown exams were affected by the rapidly spreading coronavirus pandemic.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts JEE Main exam twice a year in January and April. Now that the previous session’s admissions are done with a few days back through JoSAA, candidates are still in a dilemma over JEE Main 2021 dates. As for NEET 2020 exam, counselling is still going and the 2021 session is still in doubt. Schools are still closed for most of the regions and classes are going online for most. In such a case, conduct of board exams for the upcoming session seems a big deal.
Now that Pokhriyal is going live on December 3, everyone is expecting that some certainty will be there on NEET JEE 2021 dates and also for CBSE and other board exams. As for JEE Main January 2021 syllabus and NEET syllabus, it is also expected to be reduced as per RP Nishank’s previous post on suggesting NTA to review the same.
