Download NowNEW DELHI : Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced that a notice of GSEB SSC result 2021 will be published in the last week of June 2021. The exact date of Gujarat board 10th result 2021 is expected to fall in the last week of June 2021. Marks sheets and report cards will be distributed in the second week of July 2021.

Along with the SSC result 2021 date, the GSEB board has released Class 10 evaluation criteria for cancelled exams . Only candidates who have registered for Class 10 board exams will be promoted under mass promotion. The board will plan exams for repeater and other registered students after the COVID-19 situation becomes conducive for holding the exams.

GSEB SSC evaluation criteria
The board in a notification explained the evaluation criteria for Class 10. GSEB SSC result 2021 will be prepared on the basis of this criteria. Students are advised to go through the Gujarat Board SSC criteria 2021 to predict their marks.
The evaluation of students will be done in two parts:
Part 1 comprises the internal assessment for 20 marks. Candidates will be allowed to choose the subjects as per their choice.
Part 2 evaluation will be done for 80 marks on the basis of school-level exams instead of Class 10 boards. Students will be evaluated on the basis of their performance in secondary school level internal exams as per the weightage given below:

20 marks will be taken from the marks obtained by candidates (out of 50 marks) in Class 9 first term and will be transformed to 40%.

20 marks will be taken from the marks obtained by candidates (out of 50 marks) in Class 9 second term and will be transformed to 40%.

30 marks will be considered from marks obtained in first exams of Class 10 (out of 80 marks) which was held from March 19 to 27, 2021. The marks obtained will be converted to 37.5%.

10 marks will be taken from the marks obtained in Class 10 unit test (of maximum 25 marks) and will be transformed to 40%.
GSEB SSC result committee
To prepare the results, a committee of subject teachers will be formed under the chairmanship of the principal. The school committee will be responsible for the evaluation of this result. While evaluating, the committee members have to sign on the factors which will be taken into consideration while preparing the result, the notification further added.
