Gujarat PGCET 2024 round 1 allotment results declared for ME, MTech admissions

Gujarat PGCET Counselling 2024: Candidates will have to confirm their admission between August 27 to August 29 by paying partial tuition fees.
NEW DELHI: The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) has declared the round 1 seat allotment for the Gujarat Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). Registered candidates seeking admission into ME, MTech courses will be able to view and download the Gujarat PGCET allotment letter 2024 from the official website, acpc.gujarat.gov.in.
Candidates who are selected will have to confirm their Gujarat PGCET admission between August 27 to August 29. To confirm the allotment, candidates will have to pay the token tuition fee through online payment mode only using credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI before the deadline.
“Once the fee has been paid through the online payment gateway within the stipulated time frame, your admission will be automatically confirmed immediately,” it said.
However, if the fee mentioned in the “Seat Acceptance Payment Details” is zero then candidates have to press the ‘Accept’ button to confirm the admission. Those who do not wish to confirm the allotted seat, will have to press the ‘Decline’ button.
“The allotted seat shall be canceled if you do not confirm or decline the admission allotted to you within the time limit as stated above. However, you will be able to participate in the next round of counseling. The candidate will thereafter be not eligible to get this same seat in the next round of counseling, if any,” it said.
The Gujarat PGCET round 1 allotment is provisional in nature. The admission will be confirmed upon submission of BE, BTech passing certificate, verification of marks secured in the qualifying examination, GATE score, and other required documents. Failing to submit all the required documents will lead to disqualification.
“If you are of Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) category and have got admission in Self Finance Institute and the fee shown is zero, you have to submit "Free Ship card" to the admitted institution. Otherwise you will have to pay the applicable fee to the admitted institute,” it added.
