Haryana school timings revised from November 15 as temperature dips

As per the new timings, all single-shift schools in the state will operate from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
NEW DELHI: Directorate of Education, Haryana has revised the school timings for schools across the state from November November 15. As per the new timings, all single-shift schools in the state will operate from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
While, the double shift schools will operate from first shift- 7:55 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will be from 12:40 pm to 5:15 pm. All schools in the state will have to open and close schools at the same time from November 15, 2023.

The Education Department has written a letter to all the District Education Officers and District Fundamental Officers of the state and instructed them to implement it.
Earlier, in view of the increasing pollution, schools in many districts in the state were closed. The administration of Gurugram has suspended all classes from nursery to class five till further orders. The decision has been taken to protect school children from rising pollution in NCR.

Faridabad's Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh has also ordered to close all schools from Class 1 to 5 from November 7 to 12, 2023 .
Apart from this, the Delhi government has directed the schools in the capital to declare early winter break from November 9 to 19 amid severe air pollution being observed in the city.
