The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) every year, which is considered to be one of India's highly popular and tough exams. The CSIR NET notification 2021 has been

due the COVID-19 pandemic, which has also come as a boon for aspirants planning to appear for it, as they have got some additional time to double up their preparations.
How to crack the CSIR NET 2021 exam?

Refer to the syllabus of CSIR NET 2021 and note down the subjects that are difficult and easy.

Segregate the difficult subjects and make a preparation strategy according to it.

Download previous year question papers of CSIR NET and start solving them from day one.

There are a lot of study materials available for CSIR NET, don't get confused and choose only a few of them to get going.

Start giving mock tests at least one month before the exam for efficient preparations.

Make a study schedule and try to follow the timetable strictly.

At the end of the day, revise everything that you studied during the day. This will help in recalling everything and memorising.

CSIR NET exam pattern 2021
The time duration of CSIR NET is 3 hours and questions will be based in multiple choice format and the exam will be held in online-based computer mode. The CSIR NET carries 200 marks. The subjects asked for the exam are Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences and Chemical Sciences. There is negative marking of 0.5 marks for every incorrect answer.
What is the CSIR NET 2021 exam?
CSIR NET is conducted by NTA to make candidates eligible to apply for the post of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) / Assistant Professors in universities and colleges mainly in the science department. Qualified candidates can join the teaching profession and research work on several subjects like Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, Social Sciences, Forensic Science, and Environmental Sciences.
