NEW DELHI : Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission released the tentative HP SET 2020 exam dates on the official website. The notice that is released by the conducting authority states “ It has been the endeavor of H.P. Public Service Commission to issue advance schedules so that prospective candidates can prepare a timely course of action.” The HP SET 2020 exam will be conducted to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professors/Lecturers in the universities and government colleges of Himachal Pradesh. The notification for HP SET 2020 will be out soon.

HP SET 2020: Application Guidelines
To apply for HP SET 2020, eligible candidates have to fill the application form of HP SET 2020. The application procedure will be completed after paying application fees that is Rs. 700 for the students from general category whereas candidates from SC/ST and OBC category need to pay Rs. 175 and Rs. 350 respectively. The candidates who successfully filled the application form can download the HP SET 2020 admit card to appear in the HP SET 2020 examination.
HP SET 2020: Eligibility Criteria
The conducting authority will release the list of parameters for the HP SET 2020. It is mandatory for candidates to fulfill the eligibility criteria to complete the application procedure. The eligibility criteria for HP SET 2020 is based on age and educational qualification of students. The minimum qualification for the HP SET 2020 exam is the post graduation degree with minimum aggregate of 55%. However, candidates from reserved category will get relaxation of 5% in the aggregate marks.

HP SET is the state eligibility test conducted by Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commision. The pen paper based examination is conducted for two papers. Paper I consists 50 multiple choice questions based on general awareness whereas 100 objective type questions in Paper II based on the subject chosen by the student. It is important for candidates to choose the subject as their post graduation degree and they have to fill the OMR sheet for their response.
