IGNOU opens re-registration window for January 2026 academic year till Jan 15

IGNOU January Admissions 2026: Students can apply for re-registration on the official website at ignou.ac.in.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened the registration window for the IGNOU January 2026 academic year. Students can apply for IGNOU January 2025 re-registration on the official website at ignou.ac.in by January 15.
Candidates should have a registered mobile number, email address, user ID, password, and banking details for IGNOU re-registration.
Students who have already been accepted into any undergraduate or graduate programme offered by the institution are eligible to re-register for IGNOU 2026 . Candidates are advised to remain in touch with the IGNOU regional centre if they don't receive the confirmation email or update.
Additionally, candidates must also have the following details ready, such as a 10-digit enrolment number, date of birth, a list of courses they want to choose, and access to payment modes such as Debit/ Credit card/ UPI or net banking details.

How to fill the IGNOU re-registration form 2026?
The steps to apply through IGNOU re-registration 2026 process are as follows.
- Visit IGNOU's official website: ignou.ac.in.
- Click the "Re-Registration" button.
- Select the "Register Online" button from the top menu.
- Read all the information and click on the “Proceed for Re-Registration”.
- A login window will appear on the screen.
- Enter your password and username, then complete the captcha.
- Select the "login" tab and click on continue option.
- Choose your preferences and pay the required fee.
- Submit the application form and keep a copy for your records.
