IIHMR’s PD Agarwal scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance or scores in national-level entrance exams like CAT, XAT, and others.
NEW DELHI: IIHMR University in Jaipur has introduced the PD Agarwal Scholarships to assist deserving candidates in joining Master in Business Administration (MBA) programmes at the university. PR Sodani, the president of IIHMR University, shared the institution's vision to broaden access to management education through these scholarships.
The scholarships include two types – merit scholarships and full tuition fee waiver scholarships – for various MBA programmes such as MBA-hospital and health management, MBA-pharmaceutical management, MBA-healthcare analytics, and MBA-development management for the 2024 admissions.
The merit scholarships are awarded based on academic performance in graduation or scores in national-level entrance examinations like Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test (NMAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT), AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
These scholarships are available to students across all categories, including general, SC/ST/OBC-NCL, and EWS. Out of the total intake of 400 seats, students can avail the merit scholarships on 200 seats, receiving Rs 60,000 during the two-year MBA programme.
On the other hand, the full tuition fee waiver scholarships are specifically for SC/ST/OBC-NCL and EWS students, providing a complete waiver of the tuition fee. Sixteen such scholarships are available for all MBA programmes, offering students significant financial relief with a 100% tuition fee waiver, which ranges from Rs 3.48 lakh to Rs 7.93 lakh depending on the chosen MBA programme.
