IIM Kozhikode, Emeritus launch Chief Operations Officer course; sets fees at Rs 6.5 lakh

IIM Kozhikode: The COO programme will commence on March 30. It also features two exclusive online modules with certificates by Kellogg Executive Education.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has launched the Chief Operations Officer programme in partnership with Emeritus. The one-year course is developed for those aspiring to become COO and hone skills in line with the evolving business world.
For operational leaders, the 12-month programme covers contemporary topics such as technology, design thinking, artificial intelligence (AI), digital supply chain, agile methodologies, and risk resilience, enabling them to optimize operational processes and build influential networks.
“Aspiring and newly appointed COOs will benefit from a focus on cutting-edge practices that drive efficiency, innovation, and growth. The program equips them with strategic decision-making skills, cross-functional teaming expertise, and crisis management capabilities, complementing the CEO's role,” the institute said.
IIM-K: COO course fees, eligibility
The COO programme will commence on March 30. Those who enrol before March 7 will get a Rs 35,000 programme fee benefit, the institute said. The total course fee is Rs 6,50,000 + GST taxes.
Graduates or diploma holders from a UGC, AICTE, or state government recognised universities with an aggregate marks of at least 50% will be eligible to apply. They should also have a minimum work experience of 10 years.
The COO certificate will be awarded by IIM Kozhikode upon completion of all evaluation components and having a minimum attendance of 75%. In addition to this, those who complete two online modules with a minimum grading of 80% will receive two module certificates by Kellogg Executive Education.

The institute said that the new programme was designed keeping in mind the expanding role of COOs and to help leaders to effectively contribute to the sustainable growth and success of their organizations.
Learners will be attending live-online sessions taken by IIM Kozhikode faculty along with two online modules delivered through pre-recorded video lectures by Kellogg Executive Education.
It also includes a 3-day campus immersion with a leadership building workshop at IIM Kozhikode’s campus, hands-on learning with business simulations in strategic and global supply chain management.
