IIM Kozhikode welcomes 683 participants for 18th EPGP–IL batch; women make up 29%

IIMK EPGP–IL programme will be delivered through 67 learning centres across India. The course combines strategy, leadership, and analytical training.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Kozhikode) has welcomed the 18th batch of its Executive Post Graduate Programme – Interactive Learning (EPGP–IL). The batch includes 683 participants, with women making up nearly 29% of the group.
As per the institute, the programme is delivered in an interactive, centre-based format through IIM Kozhikode’s technology partner, TimesPro. Participants attend sessions from 67 learning centres across India, spread over six academic sections, providing a national classroom experience while balancing professional commitments.
The institute states that the cohort spans a wide age range, with nearly half of the participants aged 30–39 years, 39% aged 24–29 years, and 11% above 40 years. Professional experience is also varied: 41% of participants have 6–9 years of work experience, 25% have 3–5 years, another 25% hold 10–15 years, and around 8% have more than 16 years of experience.

IIMK EPGP–IL Programme: IT leads cohort participation
Participants represent multiple industries and sectors, including private companies and government or PSU organisations. The IT sector has the largest representation at 29%, followed by consulting at 10%.
Other sectors include banking, insurance, investment services, manufacturing, automotive, sales and marketing, advertising, e-commerce, real estate, petroleum and energy, engineering services, electronics and telecommunications, education, and aerospace.
IIM Kozhikode states that the EPGP–IL programme combines theoretical frameworks, strategic insights, and leadership training, aiming to prepare executives for complex business challenges and leadership roles in a global context.
