IIT Bombay launches executive PG diploma in artificial intelligence and data science

Candidates having 4-year UG degree or 3-year degree with one year of experience can apply for course starting from January 2025.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has launched Executive Post-Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The programme will be offered by the Centre for Machine Intelligence and Data Science (C-MinDS). The 18-month online programme will commence in January 2025.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates having a four-year undergraduate degree or a three-year degree with at least one year of work experience are eligible. PG and doctorate students, with a foundational understanding of mathematics and statistics at the undergraduate level can also apply.
Designed and delivered by IIT Bombay faculty with Great Learning as the EdTech partner, the programme will culminate with a graduation ceremony on campus, conferring alumni status.
What will IITB course teach?
Tailored for early and mid-career professionals, the programme covers key areas in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. The curriculum blends core courses such as programming for machine learning, statistical foundations, machine learning, deep learning, generative ai, and ai-ml in practice, alongside electives to enhance industry-ready skills.
Learners will gain hands-on experience with Python, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, ScikitLearn, TensorFlow, Keras, Hugging Face, Docker, Kubernetes, and PyTorch, supported by IIT Bombay's academic resources for seamless learning.
