The institute offers 15 BTech programmes, of which BTech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) remains the most sought-after course, as per JEE Advanced IIT Delhi cut-off trends.

IIT Kanpur has declared the JEE Advanced results 2025 for over 2.5 lakh candidates. The JoSAA counselling 2025 for the qualified candidates has also open on the official website, josaa.nic.in.
Since its inception, more than 63,000 students have graduated from IIT Delhi. All departments, Centres, and schools under IIT Delhi offer PhD programmes. Currently, the institute has established 93 ongoing International Memoranda of Understanding with various organizations and institutions across the globe, the website read.

Admission to all IIT Delhi BTech programmes will be through the JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores. Except for BDes, which will be done through Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED). Admission into BTech in Design will be through JEE Main and Advanced with UCEED as a qualification from the academic year 2025-26, it said.

IIT Delhi: Course fee, scholarships
The tuition fee for BTech courses is Rs 1 lakh per semester. Only one third of the tuition fee should be paid by students with annual family income between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. Other students, excluding SC, ST, and PwD candidates, whose family income is less than Rs 1 lakh per annum will get 100% tuition fee exemption.
IIT Delhi offers merit-cum-means scholarship to students enrolling in BTech courses. These scholarships will be provided to 25% of students whose family income is up to Rs 4.5 lakh per annum.
IIT Delhi placements 2025
Students studying in BTech, BDes, and dual degree programmes from 2nd year to pre-final year, will get an opportunity to opt for practical training or internship during summer vacations. Despite the ongoing slump in the job market, IIT Delhi saw a 20% increase in job roles . Indicating recovery, the institute hosted 40%-50% more companies than last year, a student had told Careers360.
During IIT Delhi placement 2024 , 749 offers were made by 218 companies till December 4, according to a source.
IIT Delhi cut-off 2025 for all BTech courses
While the four-year BTech Computer Science Engineering remains the most popular course at IIT Delhi with intense competition, the JEE Advanced cut-off dropped for five-year BTech CSE. Last year’s JEE Advanced opening and closing rank for all BTech courses for open category.
