IIT Delhi launches certificate programme in design thinking and innovation

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has launched a certificate programme in design thinking and innovation. This five-month programme will commence on June 12, 2024. The application process for this programme is underway and the last date to fill out the application form is May 9, 2024.

As per the institute, the programme is designed for designers, entrepreneurs, consultants, managers, and professionals in various sectors. The programme includes live online sessions, webinars, real-world case studies, innovative assignments, short quizzes, a capstone project and an opportunity for in-person weekly office hours with faculty.
The module of this programme includes an introduction to human-centred design (HCD), HCD and innovation, identifying user needs, ideation and immersion, agile design and data-driven innovation among others.
To be eligible for this programme, candidates should hold a graduation degree or diploma from a recognized university with a minimum of one year of work experience. As per the institute, the programme fee is Rs 1,00,000.
Participants will be awarded a completion certificate from IIT Delhi on scoring at least 60% marks in each of the evaluation components and completion of the capstone project. Participants who are unable to score 60% marks or unable to complete the capstone project in the evaluation will only be eligible for the participation certificate, the institute said.
