Six free AI courses in Hindi are open for registrations till January 26. Participants can opt for paid online certification via remote proctored exam.

IIT Madras-led digital learning platform SWAYAM Plus has launched ‘AI for All’ initiative in Hindi, offering six free online courses. The courses are aimed at “reinforcing its commitment to inclusive and accessible AI education,” the institute said.
Registrations for all six courses are open till January 26 at swayam-plus.swayam2.ac.in.
Each course spans 25 to 45 hours and is free to access. Learners also have the option to pursue a paid certification by appearing for an online proctored exam, which can be taken remotely from anywhere.

All courses have been curated by experts from the IIT Madras ecosystem, with the curriculum drawing on academic and industry experience, the official press release said. The programme emphasises “hands-on activities” using real datasets and case study-based learning, with a strong focus on employability.
The courses — AI for Educators, AI in Physics, AI in Chemistry, AI in Accounting, Cricket Analytics with AI, and AI/ML using Python — are available in Hindi and do not require prior knowledge of AI or coding.
The programme is designed for first-time learners, educators, faculty members, and students from diverse academic streams, requiring only basic digital literacy and interest in learning.
Welcoming the expansion, R Sarathi, Dean (Planning), IIT Madras, said the Hindi launch makes the courses accessible to a “wider and more diverse learner base,” including learners from arts, science, and commerce backgrounds.
“The initiative is designed to remove language barriers, deepen conceptual understanding and broaden participation in AI education across regions and academic backgrounds,” he said.
