IIT Madras expands ‘AI for All’ in Hindi

All courses have been curated by experts from the IIT Madras ecosystem, with the curriculum drawing on academic and industry experience, the official press release said. The programme emphasises “hands-on activities” using real datasets and case study-based learning, with a strong focus on employability.

The courses — AI for Educators, AI in Physics, AI in Chemistry, AI in Accounting, Cricket Analytics with AI, and AI/ML using Python — are available in Hindi and do not require prior knowledge of AI or coding.

The programme is designed for first-time learners, educators, faculty members, and students from diverse academic streams, requiring only basic digital literacy and interest in learning.

Welcoming the expansion, R Sarathi, Dean (Planning), IIT Madras, said the Hindi launch makes the courses accessible to a “wider and more diverse learner base,” including learners from arts, science, and commerce backgrounds.
