NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has conducted the JEE Advanced 2022 paper 2 exam from 2:30 to 5:30 PM. As per the students, the difficulty level of JEE Advanced 2022 paper 2 was moderate. Moreover, the Mathematics section was the hardest section followed by Physics and Chemistry in order of difficulty.

JEE Advanced 2022 paper 2 analysis by Vidyamandir Classes
As per experts of Vidyamandir Classes, the paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2022 was harder as compared to paper 1. The Mathematics section was difficult while Physics was moderate. There were a total of 18 questions per subject, out of which, integer type had 4 questions, while, single choice and multiple choice had 4 and 6 respectively. In Chemistry, questions from class 12th had high weightage as compared to class 11th topics. Moreover, the weightage of inorganic chemistry was more.

According to the experts of FIITJEE, the overall difficulty level of the JEE Advanced 2022 paper 2 was moderate to lengthy. The Chemistry was easy and Physics & Mathematics were moderate to tough level & lengthy.
Chemistry - Balanced paper. Questions were asked from topics like Electrochemistry, Mole Concept, Surface Chemistry, Thermodynamics & Chemical Kinetics.
Physics - The Physics section had more concept based and covered all chapters. Questions were asked from topics like Optics, Kinematics, Work Power & Energy, Rotational Motion, Thermodynamics mixed with Surface Tension, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Magnetism.
Mathematics - There were more questions from Calculus & Coordinate Geometry. Questions were mixed concept questions clubbing two chapters asked from Functions & Progressions, Application of Derivatives clubbed with Differential Equation, Circle clubbed with Trigonometry, Vectors clubbed with Matrices, and some direct questions from Hyperbola, Ellipse, Permutation & Combination, Probability.
The paper 1 of JEE Advanced 2022 was conducted in the morning shift held from 9 am to 12 noon. Based on student’s reaction, the over difficulty level of the JEE Advanced 2022 paper 1 was moderate. Many students found Mathematics to be the toughest section.
