NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) is conducting the JEE Advanced 2024 for admission into undergraduate BTech, Bachelor of Science, BTech-MTech dual degree and BSc-MSc dual degree programmes. Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2024 will be held for top 2.5 lakh students in JEE Mains 2024 on May 26.

JEE Advanced will consist of two papers. Paper 1 will be held in the morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon while paper 2 will be conducted in the afternoon session from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The JEE Advanced 2024 score will also be used for admission by following colleges:
- Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru
- Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati
- Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Thiruvananthapuram
- Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) Rae Bareli
- Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE) Visakhapatnam.

JEE Advanced 2024: Civil engineering cut-offs
BTech in Civil Engineering is offered by all the IITs. The seats will be allotted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), which will conduct six rounds of counselling. IIT Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is the only institute offering five-year dual degree in civil engineering. The closing rank for the course last year was 9,341 at IIT-BHU.
