NEW DELHI: BTech in Computer Science is one of the most popular programmes in engineering. Candidates who want to take admission to BTech in Computer Science in the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) will be granted admission based on their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main rank. They will have to participate in the counselling conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

The JoSAA counselling registration will begin after the JEE Advanced 2021 exam , which is scheduled for October 3 for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Candidates can apply for JoSAA counselling for admission to IIITs, NITs, CFTIs. The authorities also expected to release the JoSAA counselling schedule soon.

Last year cut-offs for NITs: BTech in Computer Science
Last year, six rounds of JoSAA counselling were held and the closing ranks of the unreserved category for BTech Computer Science admission at NITs are given in the table below.

The National Testing Agency conducted the JEE Main 2021 examination in four phases this year. The JEE Main 2021 results were declared on September 15. According to the ministry of education, a total of 44 candidates have scored 100 percentile in the engineering entrance exam JEE Main 2021 while 18 candidates have shared the top rank.
