Try NowNEW DELHI: The JEE Main 2023 session 2 exams will be held on April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12. After the session-2 exams end, candidates can start applying to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) based on their JEE Main 2023 score. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) sets the NIT cut-offs each year.

The JoSAA conducts counselling process to get into NITs across India. Candidates do not require a JEE Advanced score to apply for NIT admissions. Candidates can check the JoSAA counselling 2022 cut-offs for NIT to gauge the closing ranks this year.

JEE Main 2023 cut-offs for NIT BArch programme
The following are the JEE Main 2022 cut-offs for other states, gender-neutral, open seats after six rounds of JoSAA counselling 2022. NIT Trichy BArch cut-off was the highest at 248 while NIT Patna had lowest closing rank at 1134.

For admission into NITs, a total of 50% of the seats are reserved for candidates from within the state in which the NIT is situated in. Meanwhile, the remaining seats are for those from other states. Generally, in the case of open and unreserved seats, students from outside the state will require higher ranks or NTA scores.
