The JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam is being held in two shifts. The first shift will commence at 9 am and will conclude at 12 noon. The second shift will be conducted between 3 pm and 6 pm. While candidates are required to report 2 hours before the commencement of exam, the entry gate will close half hour before the JEE Main exam time.

The candidates whose JEE Main session 1 exam is scheduled on January 25 can download their admit card from the official website-- jeemain.nta.nic.in. In order to access and download the JEE Main admit card from the official website, candidates need to log in with their application number and date of birth.

The JEE Main 2023 question paper with exam analysis will be issued soon. The official website-- nta.ac.in will host the JEE Main question paper 2023 after the JEE exam ends.

As per JEE Main 2023 analysis, the NTA JEE  BTech paper comprise of three subjects -- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each subject is having two sections - 1 and 2 in the question paper. The JEE BTEch Section 1 had 20 multiple choice questions (MCQs) with a single correct answer, while section 2 had 10 numerical based questions out of which only five had to be answered.

JEE Main 2023 session 1 for paper 1 BE, BTech shift 1 concluded at 12 pm today. Various coaching institutes have started publishing the JEE Main 2023 session 1 day 1 unofficial answer key on their official websites.

The JEE Main 2023 shift 1 was organised for three hours from 9 am to 12 noon today, January 24. The JEE Mains session 1 exam is slated to be conducted on January 24, 25, 29, 30 , 31 and February 1, 2023, for BE, BTech (Paper-1) and January 28 (2nd Shift) for BArch (Paper 2A) and BPlanning (Paper 2B).

IIT Guwahati will administer the JEE Advanced for 2023 session. The JEE Advanced 2023 is scheduled to be held on June 4. The examination will comprise of two papers- paper 1 and paper 2, of three hours duration each. The JEE Advanced 2023 paper 1 will be held in the morning session from 9 to 12 pm and paper 2 will be held in the afternoon session from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the papers.

JEE Main 2023 self-declaration form (undertaking) is a mandatory document that candidates must have to carry on the exam day along with a hard copy of JEE Main admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

The category-wise passing marks to qualify JEE Mains January 2023 will be announced by the NTA after the completion of the session 1 exam. The NTA will publish the separate JEE Main cut-off marks for the General category, EWS category, OBC-NCL, SC and ST category candidates.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has relaxed the 75 percent eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2023 exam . As per the official notification, aspirants who have scored 75% marks or are in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 of any education board will be eligible to seek admission to the NITs and IITs and to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

Karnataka state government’s Get-CET-go, a crash course application, is an initiative to help all students of the state to prepare for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main 2023) and other entrance exams. The Get-CET-go application comprises of a comprehensive study material in the form of synopsis, practice questions, chapter-wise tests, mock tests and revision videos available free to all students who are preparing for CET, NEET and JEE 2023 exams.

The National Testing Agency has not mentioned any specific dress code for JEE Mains 2023. However, candidates are suggested to wear socks, plain pullover, sweaters, cardigans, ankle shoes, low heel shoes or sandals and to coordinate with invigilators during the frisking process. Candidates should also avoid carrying any barred items at the examination centre.

NTA has commenced the JEE Mains 2023 second shift exam. The shift time for afternoon session is between 3 pm and 6 pm. The reporting time for the second session is 1 pm and the gate closing time is 2:30 pm.

A record two lakh students have enrolled in various coaching institutes in Kota this year. Initially seen as defacement by the temple authorities, the "wall of beliefs" was named after the temple became popular in early 2000 when a few students who had scribbled their prayers cleared the engineering entrance exam IIT JEE and medical entrance tests.

Sparsh, a student who wrote the first session of JEE Main paper 1 today, found the BE, BTech paper easy and analysed the JEE 2023 paper much easier compared to last year. Saying that he expects 230 marks, Sparsh added, physic was easier and chemistry as compared was a bit tough.

The candidate was appearing from a JEE Main exam centre in Hyderabad. The candidates there faced issues at their centre where aadhaar verificaton took a lot of time for a lot of candidates. However, there was no other technical glitch, he added.

A thorough study of NCERT books, solving NCERT examples and practising through mock tests holds the key to success in this paper, Ajay Sharma, National Academic Director (Engineering), Aakash BYJU'S noted.

Physics: Questions were set from covering all the topics. Students were tested on the simple level of applicability of concepts. Numericals were more in numbers than theoretical questions. Questions were from Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Optics, Magnetism, Modern Physics and other chapters. Those students who have thoroughly covered the syllabus of XI and XII along with sufficient problem-solving through similar types of practice tests will score nicely in this paper.

In terms of order of difficulty, the FIITJEE expert said, Mathematics was Moderate, Chemistry was Easy to Moderate, while Physics was Easy. Overall, the JEE Main 1st attempt 2023 paper was of moderate level as per candidates who appeared for the exam in the morning shift today.

JEE 2023 Exam: The jeemain.nta.nic.in is hosting the JEE Main January 2023 paper 1 syllabus and weightage.

The jeemain.nta.nic.in admit card 2023 for the remaining exams in session 1 will be made available soon.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not made any changes in JEE Main 2023 exam pattern and syllabus. The syllabus and exam pattern of JEE Mains 2023 remains unchanged.

The JEE Main 2023 question paper will be made available at nta.ac.in after the JEE exams get over on February 1.

The JEE Mains hall ticket download link, unlike in previous years, is not updated all at once for all the exam dates. The JEE Main admit card link for JEE main today paper was issued on January 21 and for others, NTA said, it will be released subsequently.

The candidates have been informed by mail to clarify their position with a justified representation and will only be allowed to appear for JEE Main 2023 in the current session after their identity is established by them.

There is no such JEE Mains dress code 2023. Howeer, candidates will not be allowed to carry any metallic objects and should avoid wearing any kind of jewellery and ornaments. They are also not allowed to wear any electronic watches.
