NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) session 1 exam has started today, January 24, 2023. The JEE Main 2023 exam today is conducted for BE, BTech, or Paper 1, exams. The JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam is being held in two shifts. The first shift which started at 9 am, got over at 12 noon. JEE Main 2023 second shift was held between 3 pm and 6 pm. As part of JEE Main 2023 exam guidelines, candidates will be required to carry with them the JEE Mains admit card and a valid id proof. The JEE Main paper review as per FIITJEE experts say questions covered almost all chapters of Class 11 and Class 12 CBSE board. The JEE Main exam shift 1 had a balanced paper in terms of coverage of chapters and aspirants associated with FIITJEE Noida reported JEE Main paper easier than last year.
The NTA hall ticket contains a self-declaration form JEE Main 2023. Candidates will have to fill and submit it to the JEE Main 2023 invigilator. Candidates taking the BE and BTech exam today will have to report at the exam centre two hours before the start of the exam.

Candidates will have to carry with them the JEE Main 2023 admit card, self declaration form, valid photo id in original and a ball point pen

Applicants taking the JEE Main 2023 BE, BTech exam today will have to report at the exam at 7 am for the morning shift and at 1 pm for the shift starting at 3 pm

There is no specific JEE Main dress code. However, candidates will not be allowed to enter the JEE Main exam hall if they wear jewelry, scarves or shirts with large buttons
As a first, the NTA has not released the JEE Main 2023 admit cards for all the exam dates at once. On January 21, NTA made the admit cards for day 1 JEE Main exam available and announced that the hall tickets for later dates will be issued subsequently. For JEE Main 2023 exams set to be conducted on later dates, NTA website after logging in with JEE registration number and dates of birth says: "Your admit card not allotted till yet. Will be intimated later."

Sparsh, a student who wrote the first session of JEE Main paper 1 today, found the BE, BTech paper easy and analysed the JEE 2023 paper much easier compared to last year. Saying that he expects 230 marks, Sparsh added, physic was easier and chemistry as compared was a bit tough.
