NEW DELHI : The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 January 28 shift 2 concluded at 6 pm. As per the student reactions, the JEE Main 2025 Jan 28 shift 2 exam was moderate in difficulty level. JEE Main question paper 2025 with solutions for January 28 shift 2 will be published by coaching centres. The exam was held from 3 pm to 6 pm for a duration of 3 hours.

The JEE Main 2025 January 28 shift 2 question paper will be based on memory-based questions shared by candidates. The official NTA JEE Mains Jan 29 answer key and response sheet will be uploaded after the conclusion of session 1 exams.

JEE Mains 2025 exams are scheduled till January 30. Several candidates in Ayodhya are appearing from different JEE Main exam centres 2025 , in nearby city, Varanasi, as they requested, in view of the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela 2025. A few students whose JEE Main exams were rescheduled due to a technical glitch appeared for their exam today, January 28.

In addition to the JEE Main 2025 admit card, examinees need to carry a valid photo ID proof, self-declaration, attested photographs, and a non-Aadhaar declaration. Aspirants are advised to follow the JEE Main 2025 exam-day guidelines, reach the examination centre on time, and avoid carrying prohibited items.

While the first three days of JEE Main exam this year have been moderate in difficulty level, the JEE Main 2025 January 28 shift 1 was difficult and challenging. According to Ajay Sharma, National Academic Director, Engineering, Aakash Educational Services Limited, the JEE Main 2025 January 28 shift 1 physics section was considered moderate to difficult by most students, with some questions reaching JEE Advanced levels of difficulty. Many questions were theoretical. While the distribution of topics appeared balanced, some chapters were underrepresented or missing.

Key topics like Mechanics, Waves, and Thermodynamics were adequately covered, while Electrostatics, Optics, and Mechanics had a stronger presence. Conversely, there were fewer questions from Modern Physics and Magnetism, and topics like Alternating Currents (AC) and Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) were absent. Instrument-related questions were not included.

JEE Mains 2025 January 28: Entry to exit

The JEE Main January 28 detailed exam schedule is given below.

7 am - The JEE Main exam centres will open the entry gates.

7 am to 8:30 am - The NTA will allow entry inside the exam hall. Candidates will have to go through the admit card, and photo ID verification process, biometric registration, record of manual attendance by invigilator.

They will be required to provide one passport size photograph, same as the one uploaded in the JEE Main application form 2025. One passport size photograph will be pasted on the attendance sheet at the centre. Photocopies or images stored in mobile phones will not be accepted.

Candidates will be allowed to carry the documents, transparent bottle and ball point pen inside the exam hall.

What to expect at JEE Main exam centre 2025?

  • If religion or customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit the centre early for thorough checking and mandatory frisking.
  • No candidate would be allowed to enter the examination centre, without an admit card and undertaking, valid ID proof, and proper frisking.
  • All the examination centres are under CCTV surveillance and equipped with jammers.
  • Candidates will be allowed to carry a personal transparent water bottle, a simple transparent ball-point pen, admit card, additional passport-size photograph, original valid ID proof.
  • Before reaching the centre, candidates must enter the required details in the self-declaration (undertaking) in legible handwriting, paste the photograph, and put a thumb impression at the appropriate place on the admit card.
