Download EBookNEW DELHI: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) has announced the Class 10, 12 exam 2024 date. As per the notification, JKBOSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams will be conducted from February 15, 2025, and complete the same by March 2025.

"For the students of classes 10th to 12th, the restoration of the Academic Session (to November-December session) shall be done from the academic session 2025-26. For the current academic sessions, the J&K Board of School Education shall endeavour to commence the examinations of class 10th-12th from 15th February, 2025 and shall complete by ending March, 2025", the official notification read.
As per the official notice, for the session 2024-25, the restoration of the previous academic calendar (November-December) session shall be done with respect to classes 1 to 9 whose exams will be held in November-December 2024.
The board will issue the Class 10 and class 12 annual exam datesheet soon. The datesheet will include the subject-wise schedule of the exam along with the exam time and instructions for candidates. Students will be able to download the JKBOSE Class 10, 12 date sheet 2025 through the official website jkbose.nic.in.
JKBOSE Class 10, 12 Exams 2025: Passing marks
Theory Exam :
- The passing mark for the theory component of each subject is also 33%.
- For example, if a subject is of 100 marks in theory, the student must score 33 marks to pass the theory exam.
Practical Exam (if applicable):
- For subjects with practical exams (such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, etc.), students must also obtain at least 33% in the practical exam.
- If a practical exam is out of 30 marks, a student needs to score at least 10 marks to pass.
Overall Passing Criteria :
- To pass the overall exam, a student must achieve a combined 33% of the total marks, considering both the theory and practical exams.
- For instance, if a subject is marked out of 100 (70 for theory and 30 for practicals), the student needs to score at least 33 marks in total (both theory and practical combined).
