JNU PG Admissions 2026: Revised schedule out, first merit list on June 25

JNU revises admission calendar for PG programmes; check merit list, registration dates.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has issued a revised admission schedule for postgraduate (PG) and Advanced Diploma of Proficiency (ADOP) programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. Following updated timeline, the first merit list for admissions will now be published on June 25. The admission process will continue until August 10.
Candidates selected in the first round of admissions will have to complete pre-enrolment registration and pay the required fee between June 25 and June 27. The process is mandatory for blocking seats allotted to candidates in the first merit list.

How to check JNU PG, ADOP 2026 first merit list
Candidates can follow these steps to check the JNU PG and ADOP 2026 first merit list once it is released:
- Go to the official JNU website at jnu.ac.in
- On homepage, click on the admissions section
- Open the PG Admissions 2026-27 or ADOP Admissions 2026-27 portal
- Click on the 'First Merit List 2026' link
- Merit list PDF will be displayed on the screen
- Search for your application number or name in the list
- Download and save the merit list for future references
Candidates whose names appear in the merit list will have to complete pre-enrolment registration and fee payment within the prescribed deadline to confirm their admission.
The last and final admission list is scheduled to be published on July 31. Candidates selected in this round will have to complete pre-enrolment registration and fee payment between July 31 and August 2.
