Karnataka 2nd PUC practical exam 2021 postponed amid COVID-19 surge

The Karnataka government has decided to postpone the 2nd PUC practical exam in the wake of a spike in COVID-19 cases.

Download EBookNEW DELHI: After several requests from parents, teachers and students to postpone the exams due to a spike in COVID-19 cases, the Karnataka government has postponed the 2nd PUC (pre-university college) practical exams 2021. Earlier, the practical exams for Class 12 were scheduled to be held between April 28 to May 18, 2021. The board will announce the new dates after the situation normalizes.
The official statement says, “Considering the requests from parents, teachers, and students to postpone the exams in the wake of a spike in the Covid-19 cases across the state...colleges have been directed to conduct practical exams after the completion of theory examinations.”
Karnataka 2nd PUC practical exam postpone notification
As per the schedule, the Karnataka 2nd PUC theory paper will begin on May 24 and conclude on June 16, 2021. Till now, the government has also announced summer vacations for Class 1 to 8 students, no decision taken to cancel the 10th exam . Students are advised to keep checking the official website of the board for all latest updates. Considering the pandemic situation, several states also postponed their board exams .
