The KEAM 2026 registration process will begin soon, the Kerala CEE said in an official statement.

KEAM exam 2026 is conducted for admission to engineering, architecture, pharmacy, and other professional courses offered in colleges and universities in Kerala. Admission to these programmes will be based on the merit score obtained in the entrance exam.
KEAM 2026: Certificates for reservation benefits
CEE Kerala has notified the list of documents required for registering for the KEAM entrance exam .
- SEBC and OEC candidates have to submit non-creamy layer certificates for state educational purposes from the village officer. “Certificates issued for employment purposes, central education purposes, etc., will not be considered for reservation.”
- SC and ST candidates have to submit caste certificates from the Tahsildar.
- OEC candidates, who are not included in non-creamy layer, will have to submit community certificates from the village officer.
- For fee concession and scholarship based on annual family income, except for SC, ST, OEC, candidates have to provide an income certificate from the village officer.
- Candidates whose native place is not mentioned in the school certificates or birth certificate will have to provide a nativity certificate signed by the village officer.
- EWS certificate, caste certificates to claim reservation.
For minority community seats reserved in self-financing medical and dental colleges, candidates should produce community certificates.

KEAM 2026: Documents required for NRI quota seats
Candidates applying for KEAM 2026 under the NRI quota should provide a copy of the passport and visa attested by the Embassy, green card, or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) documents of their respective sponsors.
The job of the sponsor should be mentioned in at least one of the documents, the notification read. The validity of the visa should be up to the closing date of application.
In case, the employment of the sponsor is not mentioned in the passport or visa, employment certificate of the sponsor attested by the Embassy or Consulate authorities should be attached.
Relationship certificate of the sponsor and student issued by the revenue authorities as per the government-issued guidelines must be submitted to establish the relationship.
If the sponsor is the father or mother of the applicant, educational certificates of the applicant containing the name of the sponsor shall also be accepted.
Additionally the sworn affidavit from the sponsor in the stamp paper worth Rs 200, notarized by the notary public, disclosing that the applicant is dependent of the sponsor and all the expenses, such as tuition fees and special fees of the candidate for the entire course period will be borne by them.
“Documents such as civil ID, resident permit, resident ID, IQAMA, electronic visa, employment pass or entry Visa will be considered,” it said.
