Subscribe NowNEW DELHI : The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2023 for recruitment of assistant professors scheduled to be held on November 26. The exam authority has tentatively scheduled the exam on December 31.
Candidates will be able to check the official notification on the final exam date once announced on the KEA website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
“State Assistant Professor Eligibility Test (K-Set 23) scheduled to be held on November 26 has been postponed. Executive Director of KEA S. Ramya said that a provisional date has been fixed to be held on December 31,” KEA said in a post on X.

KSET 2023 will be held in two sessions. Paper 1 will be conducted for one hour from 10 am to 11 am while paper 2 will be held for two hours from 12 pm to 2 pm. The first paper will carry 100 marks and the second paper will carry 200 marks.
Paper 1 will consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions carrying two marks each while paper 2 will include 100 compulsory questions also carrying two marks each.
In order to qualify the exam, students belonging to the general category will be required to score 40 percent aggregate marks in the two papers. SC, ST, PwD, transgender and other candidates will have to secure 35% marks in the two papers in order to be eligible for assistant professors.
