LPU announces admissions for BTech programmes in AI, robotics, data science

LPU invites applications for BTech degrees in computer science with specialisations in robotics, AI, machine learning, and data analytics, along with MBA programmes in data science & AI and fintech & AI.
Lovely Professional University (LPU) has opened admissions for its newly launched BTech and MBA programmes focused on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science.
Aligned with its "EduRevolution" initiative, LPU’s offerings include BTech degrees in computer science with specialisations in robotics and AI, applied AI, AI and machine learning, and AI and data analytics — the latter in collaboration with global AI leader Quantiphi.
At the postgraduate level, the university has introduced MBA programmes in data science & AI and fintech & AI.
Demand for robotics and AI professionals
“At LPU, our mission is to stay ahead of the curve and produce graduates who don’t just adapt to the future but actively shape and lead it,” said Dr Ashok Kumar Mittal, member of parliament (Rajya Sabha) and founder chancellor of LPU. “These advanced programs reflect the evolving dynamics of the global job market, where AI, data analytics, and robotics are no longer optional – they are essential.”

Two BTech robotics and automation students, Sri Vishnu and Betireddy Naga Vamsi Reddy, recently received international job offers of Rs 2.5 crore and Rs 1.03 crore respectively from a leading AI robotics firm.
LPU’s new MBA offerings in fintech and AI, and data science and AI are designed to prepare students for key roles at the intersection of business and emerging technologies, stated the official statement.
