: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the evaluation criteria for SSC exams 2021. The board will promote all students of Maharashtra SSC exams and award marks as per the new marking scheme. The Maharashtra SSC result 2021 will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by students in the internal exams of Classes 9 and 10.

The Maharashtra SSC result 2021 is expected to be out in the last week of June 2021. The result will be released on the official website of Maharashtra Board mahresult.nic.in. Students will be able to check SSC board result 2021 by entering their seat number in the result window.
Maharashtra SSC new marking scheme
Students will be accessed out of 100 marks for each subject comprising 30, 20 and 50 marks for three parts. Final SSC result 2021 Maharashtra will be prepared as per the student's marks scored in:

Internal marks based on year-long performance (30 marks)

Home work/orals/practical/internal assignment as per board's policy (20 marks)

Final results of Class 9 (50 marks)
“Any candidate who is not satisfied with the marks allotted with have the opportunity to appear in the next couple of examinations for improvement in scores to be conducted by the board after the conditions become more conducive to hold exams,” the state education minister tweeted.
The Maharashtra Board cancelled the SSC exams due to a surge in COVID-19 cases. Earlier, the SSC Maharashtra board 2021 exam were scheduled to be conducted from April 29 to May 20, 2021. Now, students will get marks as per this new evaluation criteria.

"A Result Committee headed by the school's Principal / Headmaster & comprising six teachers will be responsible for finalization of results & safe keeping of records. The task is challenging, but I'm confident that our schools, teachers will live up to the task," she added in the tweet.
The board is targeting to declare Maharashtra SSC result by the end of June 2021. To ensure this, schools will be given timelines for various activities regarding SSC evaluation. The board will organize webinars, upload FAQs & set up helplines to give schools, teachers a detailed understanding of the assessment process.
The board has also finalized the separate assessment plan for Repeater / private students / isolated students. The cancelled SSC exams will not be counted in the 2 chances of improvement.
