MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 registration link active now; apply for 15% AIQ seats by August 20

NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) counselling registration link has been made available on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) official website, mcc.nic.in. The NEET UG counselling 2024 registration for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats begins. All eligible candidates with a valid NEET UG score will be able to register using their application number for MBBS, BDS admission counselling.
A total of 1,12,112 MBBS seats are in India and a total of 706 medical colleges have started the academic sessions for 2024-25 so far, the Union health ministry informed Lok Sabha recently.
Candidates will have to submit their email address and mobile number entered by them in the NTA online application form on the MCC official website for counselling. All communication regarding the NEET counselling will be shared on the registered email ID and mobile number.
While filling the NEET UG counselling 2024, candidates will have to upload the NEET UG score card, NEET admit card, allotment letter, Class 10, 12 mark sheet, identity proof, category certificate, domicile certificate, EWS certificate, passport-size photos and signature.
For MCC NEET UG counselling 2024, unreserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 1,000 as counselling fee and Rs 10,000 as security deposit and SC, ST, OBC, PwD category candidates will have to deposit Rs 500 and Rs 5,000 as registration fee and security money.
However, those applying for deemed universities will have to pay Rs 5,000 as MCC NEET counselling fee and Rs 2 lakh as security deposit.
How to fill MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 form
Candidates can follow the steps given below to fill the NEET UG counselling application form 2024.
Registration - Click on the NEET UG round 1 counselling 2024 registration link on the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in. Enter the email address and mobile number added in the NTA NEET UG 2024 application form.
Application form - Proceed to enter personal and academic details such as name, educational qualification, caste, category, and other details.
Upload documents - Candidates will have to upload all required documents such as qualification certificates such as NEET UG score card, Class 10 and 12 mark sheet, government-issued identity card, category and income certificates and recently clicked photograph.
Fill choices - Now, select the choice of courses and colleges you desire to apply for in the order of preference. Check the fee structure and eligibility criteria before applying.
Payment of fees - After filling the counselling form, candidates will have to make the payment of counselling online before August 20 by 3 pm.
Download confirmation page - Once completion, review the details entered and choices filled. Download the confirmation page for future reference.
“Candidates are advised to use Laptop or Computer along with the latest registered version of Chrome/ Internet Explorer/Firefox/Windows/IOS during the Registration and Choice-Filling process to avoid any technical complications,” the MCC said.
