MP Board: Class 10 basic math students must pass supplementary exam for standard math

NEW DELHI: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has issued a notification for Class 10 students. As per the notification, students who choose Basic Mathematics in Class 10 and wish to continue studying mathematics in Class 11 will be required to pass the supplementary exam.

“Students who opt for Basic Mathematics in the Class 10 high school exams and wish to continue studying Mathematics in Class 11 will be required to pass the Supplementary Exam conducted by the board, choosing Standard Mathematics in order to proceed with their studies in the subject,” English translation of official notification read.
The board further informed that the students will have the option to choose between basic mathematics and standard mathematics in Class 9 for the academic session 2024-25 and in Class 10 for the academic session 2025-26.
Basic Mathematics is a subject for students who will take streams other than Mathematics, while Standard Mathematics is for students who want to pursue careers in engineering and other science streams.
MP Board Class 10, 12 time table 2025
The MPBSE has issued the MP Board Class 10, 12 exam schedule 2025. As per the official schedule, the MP Board Class 10 will commence from February 27, 2025, and the MP board Class 12 exams 2025 will begin from February 25, 2025. Candidates can check the complete schedule for both classes from the table given below.
