NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the NEET phase 2, 2020 today, October 14 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. The second phase of NEET is being conducted for selected candidates who could not appear for the examination on the previous schedule, September 13 due to specific circumstances. Candidates who are either COVID positive or were in the contaminated zone as of September 13 and approached NTA authorities or who approached authorities 24 hours before the commencement of the NEET exam 2020 are going to appear for the exam.
As per the media reports, less than 200 students appearing for NEET 2020 phase 2 today. Aspirants who are appearing for the special NEET exam should aware of some important details from below.

Know who are appearing for the NEET phase 2 exam 2020
Aspirants must note that the NEET 2020 phase 2 is being conducted by NTA for only selective students. The NEET special exam is being conducted for the following candidates:

Candidates who were/are COVID positive and could not appear for the NEET UG 2020 exam

Candidates who were residing in containment zones and hence could not reach the NEET 2020 examination centre
Note: Such candidates had to contact the authorities for inclusion in the NEET Phase 2 examination with proper certification of proof if they have not done the same until now.

NTA NEET combined result 2020 on October 16
As per the NEET result 2020 date by NTA, authorities will be releasing the combined result for both phase 1 and phase 2 medical entrance test at ntaneet.nic.in on October 16. On the basis of NEET 2020 exam results by NTA, admission will be granted to 80,055, MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 525 BVSc & AH offered in colleges of India.
