NEET PG 2023 round 2 choice filling process starts today

Use NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the choice filling and locking process for NEET PG second round counselling today, August 19. Candidates can select their preferred courses and institution on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
The NEET PG choice filling and locking process for the second round will continue till August 22. The MCC started the registration against the second round counselling process on August 18. The seat allotment for this round will be declared on August 25.

Candidates who will be allotted a seat in NEET PG second counselling round will have to upload their documents on August 26. They will have to report at the allotted college or institute between August 27 and September 4. Verification of students will be carried out by the institutes on September 5 and 6.
The MCC will conduct two more rounds after rounds for all India quota (AIQ) seats. The third counselling round will begin on September 8 while the fourth will start on September 28. This year the MCC is conducting the NEET PG counselling process for 26,168 Doctor of Medicine, 13,649 Master of Surgery and 922 PG Diploma and 1,338 DNB CET seats. A total of 6,102 colleges and 649 hospitals are participating in the process.
NEET PG 2023: How to do choice filling
Candidates can follow these steps to choose their preferred courses and colleges”
- Visit the MCC website – mcc.nic.in
- Login using the credentials - stream (medical/dental), roll number and password.
- Start filling your choices of course and college for NEET PG seat allotment
- To add a new choice click on the ‘+’ button
- To rearrange the order of any choice, drag the choice to the desired position
- Once satisfied with the choices filled, click on ‘save and next’ to lock the choices.
- Candidates can take print out of their filled choices for future reference.
If a candidate forgets to lock the choices filled, then his choices will be automatically locked.
