NEET SS 2021 cut-off percentile reduced by 15%
NMC has been directed by health ministry to conduct special mop-up round for filling up vacant seats left after the NEET SS 2021 mop-up counselling.

NEW DELHI: The cut-off percentile of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2021 exam has been reduced up to 15 percent. The union health and family welfare ministry has also directed the National Medical Commission (NMC) to conduct a special mop-up round for filling up over about 930 vacant seats left after the NEET SS 2021 mop-up counselling.
The details regarding the cut-off percent of the NEET SS 2021 is available on the MCC website -- mcc.nic.in. NEET-SS 2021 result has been declared by NBEMS on February 4, 2022. The qualifying percentile for NEET-SS 2021 is 50 percentile as per the NEET SS information bulletin. The revised cut off percentile of the NEET SS 2021 exam result is also provided at natboard.edu.in.

The union ministry of health and family welfare had previously asked the NMC to conduct an additional mop-up round with a reduced percentile to fill vacant SS seats. FAIMA had earlier requested Mansukh Mandaviya, union health minister to reduce the eligibility criteria for the NEET SS 2021 counselling mop-up round saying that the high cut-off will prevent a huge number of doctors from meeting the cut-off criteria. According to FAIMA, the high cut-off percent will result in vacant seats and a wastage of one year for NEET SS 2022 aspirants.
