NEET UG 2024: MCC withdraws two seats from MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing special stray vacancy round

NEW DELHI : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS has received an official court's order to remove two seats from the stray vacancy round of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination Undergraduate Counselling (NEET-UG) 2024, today November 23.
According to the MCC’s official notification, one each MBBS seat for the open category has been removed from Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SLIMS), Puducherry and also from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College (MGMCRI), Pondicherry. These seats have been removed from the seat matrix during the allotment process of the special stray vacancy round of NEET UG 2024 counselling.
The notice states that the withdrawal of seats has been removed from the process of the special stray vacancy round of NEET UG Counseling 2024. The candidates who have already been allotted seats in the special vacancy round of NEET UG Counselling 2024 will not be able to participate in the state counselling.
“The seats mentioned above for withdrawal have been removed from the Seat Matrix during the allotment process of Special Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counseling 2024. Further, it is informed that candidates who have been allotted seats in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling conducted by MCC will not be able to participate in Special Stray Vacancy Round of State UG Counselling 2024,” the official notification said.

NEET UG 2024 special stray vacancy results
The results for the NEET UG 2024 special stray vacancy will be announced on November 24, as per the latest updates. Candidates will then have to report to their allotted college to confirm their admission between November 25 to 30. MCC has announced the NEET UG 2024 special stray vacancy provisional seat allotment result on November 22. Candidates who filled out their choices for college were able to check their results by visiting the official website and also report any discrepancy in their results by today, November 23.
