The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts NIFT entrance exam to test candidate’s knowledge, skill and aptitude. NIFT 2021 consists of three parts - Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test.
Create a timeframe for each question
Test-takers must keep in mind that they have stipulated time to answer each question in NIFT 2021. Candidates must try to solve each question in approximately 45 seconds. It is advisable to attempt the questions which they are sure of. Test-takers must spare at least 15 minutes in hand to review the answer or response to those questions which are not answered yet.
Stay Calm
It is significant to stay calm and remain confident during the test. Unnecessary panic may create havoc which definitely hinders the performance of the candidates. So, candidates must remain calm and have faith in their knowledge.
Do not ponder over one question
Candidates must not take a lot of time to answer one question. If you are confused, then it is wiser to leave that particular question and proceed to the next problem.
Don’t waste time in erasing and redrawing
Candidates are advised not to waste their time in erasing and redrawing. While answering a question of designing, candidates must start with a light hand and finalize the rough outline after they are satisfactory. Doing so will avoid spending unnecessary time in erasing and redrawing.
Review the question
Candidates are required to save some time to recheck their answer. Spare at least 15 minutes to review the answer.
Candidates can work on the NIFT 2021 mock test to understand the exam pattern. Practicing the NIFT mock test will help the candidate to understand the actual time consumption in solving each question and section.
Other important things
It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the NIFT admit card 2021 along with the duly filled COVID-19 self-declaration form. No candidate will be allowed to enter the NIFT examination hall without the hall ticket.
