Download NowNEW DELHI: National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has cancelled the NIOS on-demand exams 2021. The ODE, which was scheduled to be held between April 19 and May 31, 2021, have been cancelled due to the ongoing global pandemic.

As per the NIOS on-demand exam 2021 news, the result of NIOS on-demand exam 2021 will be declared soon. For computing the result of NIOS 10th on-demand exam and 12 exams, the board will use the same objective criteria which are to be adopted for secondary and senior secondary examination.
The official notification released by NIOS reads, “ In continuation of earlier Notification vide regarding postponement of ‘On-Demand Examinations (ODE) (both theory and practical), it is notified that the said ODE examination for the period from April 19, 2021, till May 31, 2021, stands cancelled in view of the prevailing situation of Covid-19 pandemic in the country and taking account of the safety of the learners.”
“The result of the learners already registered for the ODE examination for the above said period will be computed by the same objective criteria of assessment being adopted by NIOS for Secondary and Sr. Secondary public examination scheduled for June 2021 and were cancelled,” the notification added.

Earlier, the National Institute of Open Schooling cancelled the NIOS 12th exams 2021 . The NIOS Class 12 result 2021 will be released on the basis of objective criteria developed by the NIOS. Students who will not be satisfied with the marks obtained in the NIOS result will get another chance to improve their scores. They can appear in public exams or On-Demand examinations (ODE), once the situation normalizes.
