NIT Andhra Pradesh to train BTech, MTech students in computer-aided engineering

NIT Andhra Pradesh will collaborate with BETA CAE Systems to provide course to equip students with pre-and post-processor software training

NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Andhra Pradesh has signed an agreement with BETA CAE Systems, a company that develops tools and processes for engineering simulation, to train BTech and MTech students in the field of computer-aided engineering in order to enable them to succeed in the engineering simulation employment market.

According to a statement from NIT Andhra Pradesh, the partnership with BETA CAE Systems will help students of NIT Andhra Pradesh to gain practical experience of the latest software tools in the field of engineering simulation. A course will be started in this regard with the objective to equip the students with industry skills and knowledge required in the market such as pre-and post-processor software training.

“The course will start in the third year of the studies and end in the final year of the Bachelor of Engineering studies,” said the statement.

“The Institute has invited and requested the BETA CEA Systems to support its efforts in the holistic training of our students and faculties by sharing the industry’s experience in its field of research. The Company and the Institute may further identify and formulate appropriate programs to train the students of the Institute to acquire practical skills to complement their academic foundations with the purpose of improving their employment potential,” said CSP Rao, director of NIT Andhra Pradesh.
