NMC asks MBBS colleges to submit annual disclosure report for seat renewal by May 30

Medical colleges must upload disclosure details and pay renewal fee online for MBBS seats under NMC rules for 2026–27
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed all approved medical colleges offering MBBS courses to submit their Annual Disclosure Report for the 2026–27 academic session by May 30. The commission said the submission is mandatory for renewal of MBBS seats for the upcoming academic year.
In a public notice issued by the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB), NMC stated that all colleges holding a valid Letter of Permission (LoP) must upload the required details on the official portal under the Maintenance of Standards of Medical Education Regulations (MSMER) 2023.
The commission also clarified that colleges which have not registered their AEBAS system with NMC will not be able to access the portal. Login credentials have already been shared with nodal officers, while a detailed user manual has been uploaded online to help institutions complete the process.
According to the notice, all information submitted by colleges must be accurate and consistent across different NMC boards. Once the application is submitted, institutions will not be allowed to make changes. NMC also said the submitted data may be made public if required.
Medical colleges will also have to pay an application fee of Rs 3.54 lakh, including 18 per cent GST, through the portal’s online payment gateway. The commission has made it clear that no other payment method will be accepted.
The last date to submit the Annual Disclosure Report and complete the fee payment process is May 30, 2026. NMC has stated that no extension will be granted beyond the deadline.
